Svicom acquires a business unit and makes its entry into social housing

THE OPERATION INCLUDES PROPERTY AND BUILDING MANAGEMENT OF A PORTFOLIO OF 17 SOCIAL HOUSING ASSETS

Svicom SpA Società Benefit, a proptech company active in consulting services for real estate management and development, announces the acquisition of a business unit, which also includes property and building management of 17 assets used for social housing, from Intesa S.r.l., a company established on the initiative of some major cooperative enterprises in the Marche region to coordinate and manage projects in the real estate sector with a strong social and sociomedical vocation.

In detail, the property portfolio, which will be managed by Svicom for property and building management services as well as condominium administration, consists of 17 properties located in the Marche region, totaling 330 units, owned by the Cives Real Estate Fund, managed by Blue SGR. The assets that make up the portfolio are spread over approximately 56,000 square meters of gross floor area.

Thanks to this deal, Svicom further expands its know-how in the living sector with its entry into social housing, a segment of growing interest in the national housing scene, given the affordability and quality features of projects that often fit into broader urban regeneration plans implemented with high standards of energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
